Progressing Quickly – Beach Houses Development Update

Works are continuing to progress quickly at Beach Houses!

Road backfilling from 4124/25 and 4132/33 has been advanced in preparation for the installation of curbs and services. Water tanks have been constructed and the team is setting up the pumps presently. Backfilling around units 4230/31, 4132/33 and 4122/23 is ongoing.

Unit 4120
The construction of internal and external block walls to the superstructure is ongoing. Formwork to columns has commenced with the expectation that the team will pour these and begin decking for the roof in the coming month. The pool deck slab pour is pending electrical inspections.

Unit 4122/23
Internal snagging has commenced as the team awaits municipal electrical inspection. Tiling to the pool has also begun in preparation for Diamond Brite. The external dividing wall between the units has now been constructed.

Unit 4124/25
The external walls and service bay have now been constructed. Internal decoration is ongoing with shadow gaps and cedar trims to skirting etc. being installed and painted. The service area walls have been erected and are being rendered.

Unit 4126/27
Internal and external doors have been advanced and locks have been installed. Decorations to gypsum ceilings have been advanced and ceilings are currently being prepared for PVC boarding.

Unit 4128/29
Floor and wall tiling have been advanced along with internal decoration works. Installation of internal doors has also started, along with final checks of ceiling frames prior to the installation of ceiling finish boards.

Unit 4130/31
Patio tiling has been advanced along with tiling around pool spas. Internally, the installation of kitchen cabinetry is ongoing, as well as the installation of skirtings, door frames and doors.

Unit 4132/33
Snagging is ongoing both internally and externally. Pool tiling has been completed and the pool Diamond Brite is in progress to prepare for the filling the pools. Curtain tracks and blinds have been installed in preparation for commissioning and testing, ahead of furniture installation.

Unit 4134/35
This has been handed over and is available for occupancy.

Unit 4138/39
This unit is available for occupancy.
